015f674520 notification: Use existing email format for missed 1:1 DM via DM group.
To maintain API compatibility, we render the email notification for
missed 1:1 direct messages using DirectMessageGroup with the same
format as messages sent to a Personal recipient.

29d42ab6ad url_encoding: Refactor a encode_user_ids.
This refactors out a function to encode the user ids into URL compatible
format. Previously we use the "-pm" decorator to encode user ids for
group direct messages. That decoration tag is not valid, so this also
updates some existing test cases.

48e33eed31 url_encoding: Standardize to use encode_hash_component.
Previously we use `hash_util_encode` to encode channel and topic names
to be URL compatible. This uses the more capable `encode_hash_component`
from the recently added `topic_link_utils.py` module. It also moves the
function to `url_encoding.py`

6bd6f23549 url_encoding: Add support for with message links.
We abstract away "near" vs "with" from the function names and
allow callers to specify whether they want a conversation_link,
ie, use the "with" operator. The default choice is "near".

52692a6448 refactor: Rename huddle to direct_message_group in non API.
This commit performs a sweep on the first batch of non API
files to rename "huddle" to "direct_message_group`.

It also renames variables and methods of type -
"huddle_message" to "group_direct_message".

This is a part of #28640

8ab526a25a models: Replace realm.uri with realm.url.
In #23380, we are changing all occurrences of uri with url in order to
follow the latest URL standard. Previous PRs #25038 and #25045 has
replaced the occurences of uri that has no direct relation with realm.

This commit changes just the model property, which has no API
compatibility concerns.

b7e56ccbdc lib: Rename *topic local variables to *topic_name.
This is preparatory work towards adding a Topic model.
We plan to use the local variable name as 'topic' for
the Topic model objects.

Currently, we use *topic as the local variable name for
topic names.

We rename local variables of the form *topic to *topic_name
so that we don't need to think about type collisions in
individual code paths where we might want to talk about both
Topic objects and strings for the topic name.

257b32a4a4 narrow urls: Avoid complicated optional types.
We no longer have to reason about the 12 possible
ways of invoking get_narrow_url. We also avoid
double computation in a couple places.

Finally, we get stricter type checks by just inlining
the calls.

243216cb60 url-encoding: Update URLs for direct messages.
In a previous commit, the frontend of the web app was updated for
URLs with `#narrow/dm/...` for direct messages (group and 1-on-1).

Updates the URLs generated for email notifications and outgoing
webhook notification messages to use the new `/dm/...` format.

df001db1a9 black: Reformat with Black 23.
Black 23 enforces some slightly more specific rules about empty line
counts and redundant parenthesis removal, but the result is still
compatible with Black 22.

(This does not actually upgrade our Python environment to Black 23
yet.)

2a8b7412ff url_encoding: Use user name instead of email in personal_narrow_url.
This commit updates the urls for personal narrow sent in email
notifications to be of form "{user_id}-{encoded_full_name}" to
make it consistent with the urls that we use for such narrows
in webapp which were recently updated in b4eddad for improving
performance. We encode the full name in the same way that we do in
webapp by replacing the url characters encoded by browser with "-".

c0828f118b hash_util: Move enc/decodeHashComponent to shared.
Moves the encodeHashComponent and decodeHashComponent functions out of
hash_util and into internal_url which belongs to shared. This is to
accommodate sharing of this code with mobile or any other codebases that
do not wish to duplicate logic.

365fe0b3d5 python: Sort imports with isort.
Fixes #2665.

Regenerated by tabbott with `lint --fix` after a rebase and change in
parameters.

Note from tabbott: In a few cases, this converts technical debt in the
form of unsorted imports into different technical debt in the form of
our largest files having very long, ugly import sequences at the
start. I expect this change will increase pressure for us to split
those files, which isn't a bad thing.

461d5b1a3e pysa: Introduce sanitizers, models, and inline marking safe.
This commit adds three `.pysa` model files: `false_positives.pysa`
for ruling out false positive flows with `Sanitize` annotations,
`req_lib.pysa` for educating pysa about Zulip's `REQ()` pattern for
extracting user input, and `redirects.pysa` for capturing the risk
of open redirects within Zulip code. Additionally, this commit
introduces `mark_sanitized`, an identity function which can be used
to selectively clear taint in cases where `Sanitize` models will not
work. This commit also puts `mark_sanitized` to work removing known
false postive flows.

2fe9d85a5f redirects: Refactor redirect code to use central helper function.
This commit introduces two new functions in 'url_encoding.py' which
centralize two common patterns for constructing redirect URLs. It
also migrates the files using those patterns to use the new
functions.

fd62e71737 Clean up URLs sent by outgoing webhooks.
When you send a message to a bot that wants
to talk via an outgoing webhook, and there's
an error (e.g. server is down), we send a
message to the bot's owner that links to the
message that triggered the error.

The code to produce those links was out of
date.

Now we move the important code to the
`url_encoding.py` library and fix the PM
links to use the more modern style (user_ids
instead of emails). We also replace "subject"
with "topic" in the stream urls.

6bbffe0e2e notifications: Extract zerver/lib/url_encoding.py.
Extracting this helper library will help us avoid an import loop
between notifications.py and message.py (with bugdown in between).

But in addition to that, it's a more natural model, since some of the
uses for these functions weren't part of the notifications code
anyway.
