Welcome Bot should auto-reply to users in 1:1 DMs, including when
the direct message group recipient model is used. This ensures
the bot detects and responds to messages where it is a recipient,
for both PERSONAL and DIRECT_MESSAGE_GROUP recipient types.

When importing from other apps, we want to generate initial channel
messages. We don't have the usual Zulip-style range of channels, so we
just settle on sending all these messages to a single channel, chosen
following the same criteria as already implemented in #35339.
It's messy to sometimes do `realm.ZULIP_..._CHANNEL_NAME` and sometimes
`Realm.ZULIP_..._CHANNEL_NAME`. Let's be consistent and access those as
a class attr `Realm.ZULIP_..._CHANNEL_NAME`.
Replaces links to "Getting your organization started with Zulip"
in onboarding emails and Welcome bot direct message for owners of
new organizations.
Revises text in those emails and messages to reflect the new
"Moving to Zulip" help center guide that is now used.
When using the sub-expression purely for filtering, and not for
accessing the value in the resultset, .alias() is potentially faster
since it does not pull the value in as well.
Previously the bot sent bot commands whenever an undefined message
was sent by the user. This commit intends to fix the problem so that
the bot will only respond to the first message it does not understand
and not reply to any future undefined messages.

This commit updates the 'send_initial_realm_messages' function
to create OnboardingUserMessage rows corresponding to the
initial realm messages we send.
It helps to distinguish new onboarding messages from the
onboarding messages in the old realms.
This commit updates the message contents to use triple quotes.
It helps to maintain a consistent pattern for multi-line strings
in 'zerver/lib/onboarding.py' file and it'll be a lot more
convenient to edit in that form in the future.
To help users focus on the onboarding experience, we no longer
send the introductory "Zulip updates" message as a part of
onboarding.
Now, we send the introductory message just before the first
update message.

In 'send_initial_realm_messages', the topics names were not
being translated properly as they were computed outside the
with `override_language` block.
Now, we use 'send_initial_realm_messages' inside a with
'override_language' block in the caller. This fixes the bug.
Note: We are using 'override_language' block in the caller
and not within the function as it helps to avoid indenting
everything inside the function.
The query to fetch one of the greetings message based on
content wasn't taking translation into account that would
result in a bug in realms using non-english language.
This commit updates the query to fix the bug.
- Tighten up the content.
- Use pretty quotes.
- Reorder "experiments" topic to appear after "start a conversation"
in Inbox.
- Drop reference to messages being starred (not implemented yet).
Instead of applying 'remove_single_newlines()' to individual
contents when declared, we use it once while prepping up
message in 'internal_prep_stream_message_by_name'.

Mark the channel name of the initial channel created during
realm creation for translation.
It doesn't mark the topic names and description for translation
because we are planning to remove these topics and update the
description as a part of improving the onboarding experience.
We no longer create the 'core team' private channel when
a realm is created.
Earlier, "New user announcements" channel was set to the
"core team" channel. Now it is disabled by default.
populate_db still creates the 'core team' channel to
represent a private channel.
In #23380, we are changing all occurrences of uri with url in order to
follow the latest URL standard. Previous PRs #25038 and #25045 has
replaced the occurences of uri that has no direct relation with realm.
This commit changes just the model property, which has no API
compatibility concerns.
Also create dedicated channels and topics sections in sidebar.
Makes 'start a new topic', a section in introduction to topics
page.

Updates the base hash for the streams setting overlay to be
"channels" instead of "streams".
Because there are Welcome Bot and Notification Bot messages that
would have been sent with the "/#streams" hash, we will need to
support parsing those overlay hashes as an alias for "/#channels"
permanently.

Updates the translated strings in the messages sent by the welcome
bot in new Zulip organizations to use channel instead of stream.
Comments out part of a test that uses translated Italian strings
to check these welcome bot messages and adds a TODO comment to
note that the test code should be uncommented when those strings
are translated for the stream -> channel rename.

For multiline strings in triple quotes, a '\n' is included
at the end of each line.
Earlier, to skip '\n' we used to add an escape character '\'
at the end of each line.
This commit adds a function to avoid manually adding '\'.
This commit adds a management command that will run regularly
as a cron job to send zulip updates to realms based on their
current and latest zulip_update_announcements_level.
For realms with:
* level = None: Send a group DM to admins notifying them about
this new feature & suggestion to set the stream accordingly.
* level = 0:
* If stream is still not configured, wait for a week
before setting their level to latest level. They will
miss updates until their configure the stream.
* If stream is configured, send updates.
* level > 0: Send one message/update per level & increase
the level by 1 till the latest level.

This is preparatory work towards adding a Topic model.
We plan to use the local variable name as 'topic' for
the Topic model objects.
Currently, we use *topic as the local variable name for
topic names.
We rename local variables of the form *topic to *topic_name
so that we don't need to think about type collisions in
individual code paths where we might want to talk about both
Topic objects and strings for the topic name.
We use `Realm.default_language` value, which is set by selecting
the 'Organization language', to internationalize the introductory
messages of the initial streams.
Fixes#25729.
Add an optional `automatic_new_visibility_policy` enum field
in the success response to indicate the new visibility policy
value due to the `automatically_follow_topics_policy` and
`automatically_unmute_topics_in_muted_streams_policy` user settings
during the send message action.
Only present if there is a change in the visibility policy.
The previous function was poorly named, asked for a
Realm object when realm_id sufficed, and returned a
tuple of strings that had different semantics.
I also avoid calling it duplicate times in a couple
places, although it was probably rarely the case that
both invocations actually happened if upstream
validations were working.
Note that there is a TypedDict called EmojiInfo, so I
chose EmojiData here. Perhaps a better name would be
TinyEmojiData or something.
I also simplify the reaction tests with a verify
helper.
This includes changing the URL to #settings/preferences, with a
transparent redirect so that existing links, like the one from Welcome
Bot, continue to work.
Because education organizations and users have slightly specialized
use cases, we update the Welcome Bot message content sent to new
users and new organization owners for these types of organizations
to link to help center articles/guides geared toward these users
and organizations.
Also, updates the demo organization warning to only go to the new
demo organization owner because the 30 day deletion text is only
definitely accurate when the organization is created.
