# Preview your message before sending

You can preview your message before you send it by clicking the **eye** (<i
class="icon-vector-eye-open"></i>) icon to transform the compose box's contents
into a preview of your message's contents.

To resume editing, click the **pencil and paper** (<i
class="icon-vector-edit"></i>) icon that has replaced the **eye** (<i
class="icon-vector-eye-open"></i>) icon.
